5S - Order and method

Organize order at your workplace

5S means systematically organizing order at a workplace. It is a simple and effective method to keep material, tools etc in their places.

5S helps improve the maintenance of the work place and eliminates various forms of ”unnecessary” activities, for example searching for lost tools.

5S is the basis for introducing continuous improvements and standardized methods in a company.

Objectives: This course teaches you the basics of how to work with 5S as a tool when implementing Lean Production.

You will learn the importance of standardized work methods and how to increase efficiency using only a few simple measures.

Participants: This course if for you who work in industrial, distribution and service organizations.

Qualifications: No previous knowledge is required, but it is preferable if you have some work experience.

Course Length: Approximately 5 hours active study time, depending on previous knowledge. Each student has access to the course for 6 months.
